Miss or Mister IGBO Pittsburgh
IGBO
Pittsburgh is looking for the area’s top performers to compete for a
trip to Jacksonville, Florida to represent Pittsburgh in the
International Gay Bowlers’ Annual Best Entertainer (IGBABE) competition
on November 9, 2014. A local competition will take place on September
27, 2014 starting at 9:00 p.m. at Cruze Bar to crown a Miss or Mister
IGBO Pittsburgh. Contact Us if you are interested in performing.
The
IGBABE event started in Tampa, Florida in 1991 as an “entertainment”
competition between cities. The term “entertainment” is used in the
broadest sense; talent such as drag, singing, baton twirling, or
whatever can be offered. All monies collected are split equally between
the winner’s city and the Host City to use as a donation to the charity
(or charities) of their choice in each city. Checks will be issued to
the charities in the name of the contestant.
The
winner of the local contest will have the opportunity to travel with
IGBO Pittsburgh to the International Gay Bowling Organization (IGBO)
Mid-Year 2014 Conference and Tournament hosted in Jacksonville, Florida
and compete against other IGBO cities for the IGBABE title.
Winner
of the Pittsburgh contest will receive round-trip airfare on Southwest
Airlines from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Jacksonville, Florida and a
2-night stay in the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville for November 8-9, 2014.
IGBO
Pittsburgh is an organization comprised of local IGBO bowlers set to
host the 35th Anniversary International Gay Bowling Organization
Conference and Tournament in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in November 2015.
Eligible
performers must sign a contract prior to performing and be available to
perform on September 27, 2014 in Pittsburgh and on November 8, 2014 in
Jacksonville. Airfare and hotel are paid for by IGBO Pittsburgh.
Friday - March 13, 2015- CALLING ALL DRAG KINGS!
Lucky 13! Mr Pgh Pride Drag King Contest will be coming at you Friday March 13th at Cattivo ( 146 44th St. Lawrenceville Pittsburgh)
Special guest Judges and performers. $1000.00 Grand Prize ( Cash and Prizes) Several paid performances throughout the year as well as the a coveted spot on the Pgh Pride Stage!

losing her sister just a few months back, it seems the family just can't
catch a break. 2 of her 3 children are supposed to start school soon
and have pretty much nothing left. Terri is the kind of person who
would give you the shirt off of her back! Even if people would be able
to help with clothing for her children or household items it would be
great! Her oldest daughter wears size 7 womens pants & size Medium
womens shirts & size 7-8 shoes. Her middle daughter wears Girls sz
12 pants, Girls Medium/Large shirts & womens sz. 6 shoes. Her son
wears boys size 10-12 pants, boys size medium-large shirts & size 1
shoes. This family has been through so much & would appreciate any
