How to Join the Hot Metal Hardware Crew:

Reach out and get in touch! Talk to any of the troupe members or shoot us an email to let us know you are interested. If you do not already have a troupe contact to show you the ropes, we will hook you up with one.

We ask that that every potential new member make an effort to meet the troupe and get to know us. You can do this by coming to shows or talk to your troupe contact to arrange a meet-up.

Each potential new member is asked to attend at least three shows. You may submit to be a guest performer, come and support the show by helping or promoting the show among your contacts. if you have never performed before, your troupe contact will serve as your guide and the rest of the troupe will help you as needed. Whatever gender performance genre you wish to explore be it drag king, queen 'Lesque ( burly-Q, boi or butch etc), we will get your resources to get started on the right foot.

Once the three months has passed, your membership to the troupe will be voted on by current members.

Key things to remember:
  • ALL are welcome. HMH is open to ALL types of gender performers of any race, age, religion, sexual orientation or gender identity. HMH is a collection of folks who identify across the spectrum of existence. If you have a desire to perform/explore gender in some way and have fun, we want you to join us.
  • Be willing to work together and that you participate at each monthly show.
  • Be willing to attend our monthly meetings.
  • We expect people to conduct themselves in a open and professional manner, no need to be uptight, just be respectful of each other.
